At Kasper we take pride in the quality of our foster carers and the way they look after the children in their care. We are a small fostering agency and intend to stay that way. All our staff know the foster carers and their families. In this way we can support and supervise them to help even the most troubled children by providing:

at least fortnightly visits and often more
regular phone contact from staff
monthly support groups to discuss issues, provide mutual support and learn new ideas and information
a comprehensive training programme to prepare you for fostering, help you in the first months, teach you necessary and new skills and take you to NVQ 3 level and beyond
built in respite care to provide you with breaks when needed
24 hour support
a monthly newsletter
generous and competitive financial allowances
holiday activity days for foster carers and their families.

But most of all, there is a sense of achievement in helping a child who is desperate for the love, care and attention he will receive with Kasper foster parents.

You will need to love children above all, want to help them to readjust and develop in all areas of their lives; be flexible; hard working and able to work in a team who are
100% committed to what they do.
