Kasper provide high quality foster care for children and young people as required by Local Authorities.

Many of the children and young people who are referred to us may have suffered abuse, trauma, deprivation and disadvantage.

We are able to provide the following:

We are able to help children with a diverse range of needs by recruiting and supporting carers from a wide range of backgrounds and skills including those with a particular interest in caring for children with special educational needs, behavioural difficulties and children with disabilities.

We are able to support our placements through the provision of:
Therapeutic support for children (individual package of care)
Educational support (individual programmes)
Sessional Worker support for children
Supervised contact in a friendly comfortable setting
Fortnightly minimum visits from their qualified support worker
Weekly telephone calls from their qualified support worker

Our carers benefit from monthly training and a monthly support group. It is at these groups we can really see and appreciate the commitment, knowledge, skills and values our carers demonstrate on a daily basis, caring for some of the most needy and challenging children. We are very fortunate to have carers from a wide range of social, religious and ethnic backgrounds reflecting the particular needs of the children placed.
