Kasper Fostering works collaboratively to improve the life chances of all children through high quality care, education, health services, leisure and other opportunities for personal growth and development.

Referrals will be taken from local authorities by a qualified social worker who will carefully match children’s needs to appropriate foster carers. This process is documented to ensure there is clarity and accountability underpinning matching decision making.

Safeguarding is paramount at Kasper which means, unfortunately, in some circumstances where there is a lack of clarity and understanding as to the young person’s needs we may not be in a position to identify an appropriate family. We will work closely with referring local authorities to ascertain the needs of the chid/children. However we have a firm principle of not setting children or carers up to fail if we are not confident that the carers and Kasper cannot meet the child’s needs fully.

Our diverse range of carers are able to provide the following placement options working within the Every Child Matters framework to achieve positive outcomes.

• Short-term
